Yamaha DM7

New-generation Yamaha touring desk — 120 channels, 12" + dual 7" screens, Dante + DM7 control surface.

Overview

  • Inputs 120 channels (72 mono + 24 stereo)
  • Buses 36 mix buses · 12 matrices
  • I/O Dante 144×144 + analogue + AES
  • Plug-ins VCM rack — Eventide reverb / delay, Rupert Neve EQ, SSL bus compressor
  • Touchscreen 12" main + 2× 7" channel-bay touch displays

Description

The DM7 is the modern successor to the CL/QL family — bigger channel count, faster GUI, Dante 144×144 standard. Pairs natively with Rio stageboxes and (with optional cards) with PM-series control surfaces.

Includes Rio stagebox + Dante distribution + a tech who has commissioned this desk on tour.

What we hire it for

  • Modern touring rider asking for current-gen Yamaha
  • Broadcast / live record with bus matrix complexity
  • Festival headline where redundancy is non-negotiable
