THE BRIEF
Bring April Macie — the US stand-up known from Netflix, Comedy Central, NBC and Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil — across Thailand for a six-city run in six nights. Edgy, adult, English-language comedy for an audience of expats, tourists and the Thai English-comedy scene. Artist side handled booking; we took everything from production through on-the-night delivery, in six different cities.
WHAT WE DID
Production
Full advance and run-of-show for all six rooms — Phuket (29 Oct), Samui (30 Oct), Hua Hin (31 Oct), Bangkok (1 Nov), Pattaya (2 Nov), Chiang Mai (3 Nov). Venue, sound, light, hospitality, transport and on-site team in each city, sized for a club-format stand-up show.
Legal & licensing
Performer work permit and withholding-tax handling, plus per-city event and venue clearances. Six markets — island, beach, capital and northern — each with their own licensing regime, cleared with no lost dates.
Marketing & ticketing
Phased per-city on-sale on our own ticketing rails. Multi-channel creative pointed at the English-speaking audience in each market, optimised daily through to sell-out. Comedy Joint on the comedy-room side; Siam@Siam Design Hotels on hospitality.
Result
OUTCOMES
- All six dates sold out — Phuket, Samui, Hua Hin, Bangkok, Pattaya and Chiang Mai.
- A six-city, six-night routing across island, beach, capital and northern markets with zero lost dates to permits or licensing.
- Another proof of the SROAST end-to-end model on intimate stand-up: production, legal, ticketing and marketing run as one stack across the whole country.
